Food 1

Dry pasta starts at Barilla’s 2 oz uncooked serving. This is a starting portion, not a complete meal recommendation. Added foods use your own portion; no allowance for packaging, leftovers or cooking yield is added.

Eight adults at normal appetite and 2 oz of dry pasta each need 16 oz, or 1 lb. Four children add two adult portions under the tool’s planning assumption.

How to use this guide

Enter your guests, appetite and each food’s uncooked or purchase-weight portion. Keep the same weight basis throughout. The child factor and appetite adjustments are planning assumptions, not nutrition guidelines. Buy enough package units to cover the result and adjust for your menu, dietary needs and cooking yield.

Scale an existing recipe or use the Korean recipe and party-shopping tool.
