Concert Trip Cost
Enter the ticket price, travel, hotel nights, food and merchandise, and see the total for the whole trip with your share of the room.
Add up the cost
Add up the cost of going to a concert in another city: tickets, travel, your share of the room, food and merchandise. Everything is worked out on this device and nothing is saved or sent.
Example
With one $120 ticket, $80 of travel, one night in a $150 room shared by 2 people, $30 of food and $50 of merchandise, the room costs you $75 and the trip costs $355.00 in total. Press “Load an example” to try it.
How it works
The total is the tickets (price times number), your travel, your share of the room, food and drink, and merchandise. The room cost is nights times the nightly price, divided by the number of people sharing it and rounded up to the next cent.
Booking fees, resale premiums, taxes, exchange rates and a refund if the show is canceled are not included. Add them to the matching line first. Type your own currency symbol in the box.
Frequently asked questions
How is the room cost shared?
The cost of all the nights is divided equally among the people who share the room. If you enter 2 people, your share is half. The tool rounds up to the next cent.
Where do I put fees and taxes?
Add them to the line they belong to. For example, add a ticket booking fee to the ticket price, and a resort fee or tax to the nightly room price.
Can I use another currency?
Yes. Type the symbol in the currency box. The tool does not convert between currencies, so enter every amount in the same currency.
