Bedding and Carpet Drying Space

Think of the room as seen from above. Give the position of each piece of furniture from the top-left corner of the room. Everything is worked out on this device and nothing is sent.
Example
A 150 × 200 cm duvet can hang folded in half from a rack with a 180 cm bar that is 150 cm high, and the rack fits in the lower middle of a 300 × 250 cm room with at least 50 cm of space around it. Spread flat, it fits but with only 5 cm of space around it. Press “Load an example” to try it.
How it works
For bedding, the tool tries folding it in half over the bar in both directions. The bar must be at least as long as the side along it, and the folded half must hang with 5 cm to spare above the floor. It then looks for the spot, in both directions, with the most space to furniture and walls.
A carpet or rug is only checked spread flat. If a spot would overlap furniture, the overlap is shown. Drying time, hygiene and the rack’s load limit are not guaranteed.
Frequently asked questions
Can I leave the rack blank?
Yes. Leave all three rack sizes blank to look only at spreading the item flat. Fill all three to compare hanging it too.
Why can’t my rack hold it?
Either the bar is shorter than the folded item or the bar is too low, so the folded half would touch the floor. Look for a longer or higher bar, or spread it flat.
Will it dry in time?
The tool does not know. Thick items, layers and a humid room all slow drying. Plan for airflow and check that it is completely dry before using it.
