Frequently asked questions
What is the order of an English address in Korea?
From smallest to largest: unit and building, building number and road, district, city, then ZIP code and country. For example: 152 Teheran-ro, Gangnam-gu, Seoul 06236, Republic of Korea.
What do I put in “State” for a Korean address?
For addresses in a province (-do), use the province, with the city or county as City. For Seoul and metropolitan cities, use the city name in both fields.
How do I write my apartment building and unit?
Enter 101동 1203호 and it becomes 101-dong 1203-ho. Floors become 3F, and basement floors B1F. Apartment complex names are not converted, because there is no official English spelling.
