Furniture Parts Checklist
Copy the parts list from the assembly manual, enter how many of each part you have, and see what is missing or left over.
Check the parts
Copy the parts list from the assembly instructions, count what you actually received, and see what is missing. The tool also writes a message you can send to the seller. Nothing you type is saved or sent.
Example
For a bookcase whose manual lists 2 side panels, 4 shelves, 16 wood dowels and 12 cam screws, if you have all of them except 14 dowels, the tool reports 1 part short (the dowels, short by 2), 32 of 34 parts in total, and writes a message for the seller. Press “Load an example” to try it.
How it works
Each line is one part: its code in the manual, a name if you like, how many the manual lists and how many you counted. The tool compares each line, sorts the parts into short, extra and complete, and adds up the totals.
The message to the seller states the product, the order number, and each missing part with how many are short. Count twice before you send it, and attach photos of the parts bag and the parts page. Nothing you type is saved.
Frequently asked questions
Where do I find the number of each part?
The manual usually has a parts page near the front, with each part drawn next to a code and a quantity. Copy the code and the quantity from there.
What if a part has no code?
Leave the code empty and type a name instead. Each line needs a code or a name.
Does it save my list?
No. Everything stays in your browser and is gone when you close or reload the page.
