How to use the outfit guide

Enter the forecast low and high, then press “What to wear.” The guide picks the band for the middle of the two temperatures. Choose °F or °C; your choice is remembered on this device.

Feels-like temperature can be much lower in wind or much higher in sun and humidity. If your forecast shows a feels-like value, try entering that too.

Frequently asked questions

What should I wear at 60°F?

60°F (about 16°C) falls in the 54–62°F band: a sweater or sweatshirt with a light jacket, field jacket or trench coat, and jeans or chinos.

Why does the guide use the middle of the low and high?

You wear the same clothes most of the day, so the guide dresses you for the average and suggests an extra layer for the morning when the low and high are 18°F (10°C) or more apart.

Is this an official standard?

No. It is based on an eight-band guide widely used in Korea. Wind, sun, humidity and how warm you run all matter, so use it as a starting point.
